Mia Ariannaa released her very explicit “#AnxiousAF” music video on February 5 in which she sings with a seductive and soulful spirit over blunt bars, exhibiting her signature Bindi. In this track, Mia Ariannaa expresses her unfiltered thoughts, as we know her for, and confess about her strong desire for someone.
Growing up in Charlotte, she discovered her voice as a child, sang in the church choir and belted out the “The Star-Spangled Banner” at middle school basketball games. After singing for years as a hobby, she took part in Monica’s “So Gone” social media challenge in 2016. Her video went viral and she continued to feed her Instagram with freestyles that led her to gain a community of 50K followers and generate hundreds of thousands of views.
In the summer of 2019, Rico Love, two-time GRAMMY Award-winning artist, songwriter, producer, and mogul found her Instagram. Impressed with her Roddy Ricch freestyle, he decided to contact Mia and they met in person in Miami and she signed to Rico’s Division1, and introduced herself with “What Was I Thinking?”
Rico commented, “Mia Ariannaa is a total superstar. She’s the full package. She has such a distinct vocal tone that I believe will set her apart from many of her other incredibly talented peers. She’s one of those rare superstars you meet once-in-a-lifetime who not only does it all, but succeeds at the highest level too. It’s an honor to join forces with Epic Records to give her the platform she deserves to boss up”.
According to Mia, “Nobody sees your vision like you see your vision. You have to stick to it though. I put in the work and take this very seriously. It’s everything to me”.
