Ari Anna Releases ‘LostAgain’ For Eating Disorders Awareness Week | Music News

Ari Anna has released an intimate ballad “LostAgain” inspired by her personal story with mental health and eating disorders. This single comes with a music video right on time for Eating Disorders Awareness Week which is held from March 1 to 7. Through this track, Ari Anna expresses the constant struggle she felt between the desire to heal and the tendency to fall back into destructive patterns.

According to her, writing these lyrics helped her overcome this struggle, she says “The first time I wrote the song, my eating disorder seemed to slowly disappear. To me, it’s magic – the magic of the music that’s helping me to let go”.

Ari Anna hopes through this track to share her experience with as many people as possible and to make this song a stirring call to guide those who still suffer as she did to the light. “If I made it through this, so can you”, she adds.

In the music video, Ari Anna showcases her distinctive yin and yang duality which she mixes with soulful and introspective verses yielding to soaring, uplifting choruses. Drawing inspiration from Demi Lovato’s soul-baring emotion and James Brown’s inspiring energy, she offers, as her signature, a philosophical duality and monochrome stage aesthetic.

London-based Italian pop singer Ari Anna will release her first 7-track album in June. This project marks the fulfillment of her dream of recording at Abbey Road Studios, under the production auspices of Pete Smith and Paul Statham, along with her long-term Italian collaborators: Macs (Sony Music Italy) and Etta Matters, and having the tracks mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Kelly Clarkson, Katy Perry).
