Swedish Band MFMB Are Back From Their Decade-Long Hiatus With ‘Harvest’

After a decade of hiatus, Swedish alt-rock band MFMB are finally back with their new title “Harvest”, which is taken from their anticipated album Sugar.

Formed by six artists, Joakim Lindberg (guitars), Vic Narin (vocals), Christine Björk (vocals), Kristoffer Bäckström (drums), Erik Nilsson (drums) and Sebastian Hedberg (bass), they have drawn attention for their unforgettable live performances with their dual drummers and lead singers.

After their last release Colossus back to 2012, the announcement of the album Sugar on the 25th of March will bring back the dark and driven alt-rock universe shaped by the band.

It has been decided for their comeback record that each member will have an equal time of sound and feel record participation. The famed soul of MFMB is definitely present but their sound is being revamped to coincide with the current heated times.

Unlike the rest of their new tracks, the single “Harvest” pushes you in a dark scenery, which appears in the world during MFMB absence. The dynamic “Harvest” song takes us instantly back to the past work of the band, and will make the listener face their own fate, which is uncertain.

Speaking about the track, the band said “A song about the fear of losing it all. Harvest helped establish the kind of ambiance we wanted for the record as a whole”.
