Serbian rap artist Def Manic released a new freestyle that requires your urgent listening titled “My Plug“.
With a retro clip in the streets of New York, the Serbian rapper shows us his talent on a production with multiple influences from NYC to the West Coast, the exercise is successful!
Serbian Hip Hop artist Def Manic, who is currently located in Brooklyn, New York, has made a name for himself in the experimental hip-hop scene over the past several years.
At the age of 29, he has completed more than 8 projects, including his Extrovert EP, which has amassed over 200K streams overall, and his most recent EP, 3MOTIONS, which has gained a lot of attention thanks to the inclusion of his single “Suave Girls” in a mobile video game.
A full-length album titled D.R.A.W. (Do Right & Win), which he toured Australia with after a sold-out album launch in September 2014, and two noteworthy mixtapes (Retrospect & Curious Tales) are also among his major works.
His 2013 song “Stuck In The Moment” has gained popularity on commercial radio in Australia, Canada, the United States, and France. It has also appeared in popular YouTube videos such as “Insane Football/Soccer Abilities“, “Football is Awesome“, and “Brandon Loupos” video.
He has shared the stage with artists such as B.o.B., Twista, Souls of Mischief, A Tribe Called Quest (Phife Dawg + Ali), and Scribe from New Zealand. He has also headlined concerts in Thailand and Japan.
Most recently, he performed in NYC at the storied Knitting Factory and S.O.B.s. His first US Publishing agreement with AIA through this most recent project was his most noteworthy accomplishment of 2016.
He doesn’t seem to want to stop there, and we can’t wait to see what he will propose next!
