After first making an impact in 2021 by being shortlisted on BBC Radio 1’s ‘Live Lounge Introducing’ out of 10,000 entries with the track, “There Till The End”, JERUB is set to release his newest emotional ballad called “You and I“.
Uncovering his widespread praise and support from Notion and Wonderland, the 25-year-old singer/songwriter, who is signed to an independent label (Elevate Music), was born in Nigeria and moved to Nottingham at age 10.
As of 2021, JURUB has been making a name for himself, beginning his career with outstanding performances ever since his BBC Radio Live Lounge debut which includes; BBC Morning Live, Lorraine on ITV and Sunday Brunch. Not just proving to be an amazing performer, JERUB has received applause from over 200 UK regional playlist additions.
TV is not the only place you can find JERUB showcasing his growing number of hits, from making an appearance at The King’s Coronation Concert which saw his streams skyrocket and appealing to audiences alongside the likes of Cat Burns, and Lewis Capaldi. As well as recently headlining in London for The Lower Third.
JERUB’s new release draws up topics such as; personal growth, love and living without regret which is showcased through beautifully tragic personal lyrics alongside a heartfelt and hopeful piano instrumental. JERUB explains; “What I have figured out is that I am the best version of myself when I let love in“.
Whilst JERUB is currently undergoing a 30-date UK & European Tour supporting singer-songwriter JP Cooper, the anticipation builds for JERUB’s newest release with Elevate Music.
