Uche Yara’s musical journey began at the age of seven when she immersed herself in percussion. This rhythmic base paved the way for her subsequent introduction to the electric guitar at thirteen and her self-taught bass skills at fifteen.

Choosing to perform live extensively before releasing any music wasn’t an accidental strategy. Uche Yara explains, “Although the music was always ready, I was exploring the right way to present my art. Interacting directly with my audience and gauging live reactions to my songs seemed the most fitting approach.”
