Art Hearts Fashion kept the energy high at New York Fashion Week (NYFW), pushing the boundaries of inclusivity and diversity on the runway. From September 5-8, 2024, over 35 international designers brought their boldest looks to The Angel Orensanz Foundation, a venue known for its iconic role in the NYFW scene.

This year’s showcase wasn’t just about clothes—it was a celebration of global talent, fresh perspectives, and fearless fashion that proves the future of style is all about embracing individuality.

This four night extravaganza would not have been made possible if it were not for the tremendous support, sponsorship and contributions of all parties: Mr. Purple, Empress Gin, Carnivale Donuts, C4 Energy, Smartwater, Unite Hair, Japonesque, The Makeup Light, Moonslice Beauty, Gerard Cosmetics, B Bistro, The Makeup Bullet, Denoir Cosmetics, Wavytalk, Lashes By Gretscha, and St. Germain.

This season, the event featured a dynamic mix of both established and emerging designers from all around the world including Alycesaundral, Amara, Anthony Rubio, Asta Razma, Atelier Ola Sol, Bad Pink, Bad Sisters, Carlos Pineda, Cross Colours, Danny Nguyen Couture, Daniela Pena, Dave, Diana Couture, and Drisha’s Closet.

Not only did Art Hearts Fashion bring together worldwide design, talent, and culture, but also personalities such as Dream Kardashian who walked for Zeus & Lexi Kids (accompanied by her mother Blac Chyna) and Omari Hardwick who walked for Victor Mudhe, amongst other celebrities, influencers, and media guests.

The entertainment brought the house down. Arts Hearts fashion is all about representation and inclusivity and this was true for their two musical guests DJ Møya Rey and Lexy Panterra.

Møya Rey is a Brooklyn based multidisciplinary artist – DJ, photographer, singer, songwriter, and professor whose music is in English, Spanish, French & Portuguese. As a Dominican-American born and raised in New York, Møya Rey has been shaped and influenced by a multitude of cultures.

This is what makes her sets extremely versatile, sensational and transient. DJing for AHF was Møya’s debut NYFW performance, and it was all the rave. The guests came for Art Hearts Fashion, but they left with new songs for their playlists.

Love For Upcycling

This NYFW, AHF gave a major shoutout to José Alexzander, the Founder and Artistic Director of Love For Upcycling. He’s all about turning the old into fresh, trendy fashion and pushing the fashion world to think green.

Alexzander’s dedication to upcycling and sustainability is seriously next-level and totally aligns with the values of today’s eco-conscious generation. As José Alexzander, highlights, the act of recycling and repurposing is a collective responsibility, and he has tremendous fun making the old new again.

What’s more DJ Møya Rey was tasked with the honor of live DJing his runway. The music selection included genres such as Brazilian Funk, Reggeaton, Amapiano and Litefeet.

Latin Designers

This year’s New York Fashion Week Powered By Art Hearts Fashion brought an unforgettable showcase of talent, with over 10 Latin designers making a profound impact on the runway. In a fashion landscape often dominated by American designers, these visionary Latin creators introduced a fresh, dynamic energy, captivating audiences and leaving a lasting impression that set them apart at one of the world’s most prestigious fashion events, NYFW.

Collaborative Designs

Levi’s couture outfits were tailored to complement Montecristi’s iconic Panama hats, showcasing the perfect blend of high fashion and heritage artistry. This collaboration speaks to the essence of Montcristi’s ethos: to preserve and elevate the art of weaving while introducing it to the contemporary fashion world.

The collaboration between Pellone Collection and Zardouzee took center stage, offering a breathtaking fusion of modern elegance and rich heritage. Pellone Collections’s striking special-occasion designs, known for their blend of timeless sophistication and youthful vibrancy, meet the opulent artistry of Zardouzee’s Mughal-era Zardozi embroidery.

The intricate craftsmanship, once reserved for royalty, now enhances Pellone Collection’s contemporary fashion pieces, from stunning gowns to chic accessories, creating a seamless harmony between haute couture and ancient artistry.
