18-year-old Kaelynn Hayes, an emerging singer-songwriter from a Chicago suburb, is thrilled about the release for her new debut single, “kind regards,” under her distribution deal with Columbia Records.
“kind regards” delves into the emotional complexities of a long-term relationship that ends unexpectedly, capturing the heartbreak that often accompanies such experiences. Kaelynn’s heartfelt lyrics and unique sound resonates with listeners, making this release a significant milestone in her budding career.
As she prepares to share her music with the world, Kaelynn is excited to embark on this new chapter and connect with fans through her authentic storytelling.
Reflecting on the creative process, Kaelynn stated that, she “wrote this song in a London session in February with Chris Thomas and Alex O’Shaughnessy. From the moment we finished it, I knew I wanted it to be my debut single.”
Her journey in music began at an early age of seven when she discovered her passion for singing through karaoke. What started as a childhood pastime has blossomed into a promising career, marked by a distinctive voice and an ability to connect with listeners.
In 2020, Kaelynn expanded her musical repertoire by learning to play the guitar and piano, this new skill set, allowed her to share her interpretations of popular songs on social media.
Most recently, in October this year, Kaelynn took to the stage with Daniel Seavey during his opening slot on Benson Boone’s tour, performing a duet at their Indianapolis stop. This performance highlighted her growing presence in the live music scene and showcased her ability to engage with audiences.
