“Long Way Home” is the combination of electronic music by superstar DJ/producer Diplo, vocals from indie-rock band Grizzly Bear front man Edward Droste, with the added indie style production of Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij. The result sounds as you would expect from this joint project, a good, solid beat tamed by the mature, clear vocals of Dorste. It’s a song that you want to listen to a few times over, the layered vocals are a very comforting companion for a grey winter day.
