Will Ferrell is no doubt one of the funniest and most popular comedic actors in Hollywood and posses the talent that turns the weirdest and most far-fetched story lines into hilarious movies. Well, that may well be the case for his next movie In The House. Ferrell has signed up to star and produce in the flick, which has been written by Bad Neighbours writers Brendan O’Brian and Andrew Cohen, who will also take on role as directors.
The movie will see Ferrell play a guy who, with his wife, blows his daughters college fund and finds himself in desperate need to make big money and fast! The obvious choice is to open up an illegal Casino in the suburbs and that’s exactly what they do! The premise sounds silly enough to be perfect for a Ferrell movie and holds a lot of possibilities for possible comedy mayhem. With New Line looking to start shooting in August this year, for a summer 2016 release, they’re surely on the look out for somebody to play Ferrell’s wife, so keep an eye out for more casting news!
