Fruché Goes ‘Brit Pop’ For Spring/Summer 2015 Collection | Fashion News

Up and coming Nigerian label Fruché yesterday revealed their Spring/Summer 2015 collection inspired by Brit indie-pop band Bastille. The collection was created with inspiration from creative director Frank Aghuno’s interest in the band’s music and style. Mirroring their covers of classic pop songs and “ethereal vibe”, the lookbook features pieces for both men and women, drawing on a mix of British and Nigerian indie sensibility and quirky pop art. A collaboration with Aghuno’s twin brother, artist Fred Aghuno – who painted and created the backdrops for the lookbook – the “Bastille” collection features pops of neon and pastel contrasted with crisp white and off-the-wall silhouettes.
