Taylor Swift’s album 1989 will not be available to stream when Apple Music launches, just like Spotify and other streaming sites, reports BuzzFeed. Taylor Swift removed all of her songs last year from Spotify as she was against the free, ad-supported streaming site.
There are paid-only streaming sites like Tidal and Apple Music that will still be allowed to offer Swift’s previous albums which means that Apple Music will have the albums Red, Fearless, Speak Now and her self titled debut album. Users of Apple Music will be given a 3-month free trial when it launches, but there is no long term plan after this period. The streaming site is set to launch on June 30.
