Bloc Party Announce First European Tour Since Hiatus | Music News

Playing just two dates in the UK, the newly reformed Bloc Party have announced a string of first live shows across Europe since losing their drummer, Matt Tong (being replaced by Louise Bartle) and their bassist Gordon Moakes, who has been replaced by Justin Harris.

 

Bloc Party have also announced that they will be releasing a new album, two songs of which – “Eden” and “Exes” – were premiered at their Glass House show in Pamona on the 19th of August. This will be the first album recorded without former members Tong, who left in 2013 after Bloc Party’s album Four, and Moakes who left in 2015. Bloc Party have also announced via Twitter that presale for the tour tickets closes at Midnight tonight, so sign up quick! Tickets for the general public are to go on sale at 10am this coming Friday, with the London date going on sale at 9am.
