Comedian Kevin Hart is to star in a new romantic comedy titled About Last Night to be released next month. The film has also called in another comedic talent in the form of Regina Hall who will star opposite the Let Me Explain actor. She is known for her role in the Scary Movie franchise and most recently, the blockbuster hit Think Like A Man which also starred Kevin Hart.
The synopsis for the film is simple – Kevin Hart and Regina Hall meet in a bar setting, start a “situationship” which leads to the couple figuring out how they feel for one another. For those who are accustomed to Hart and Hall’s film work, you will understand that this will not be your typical romantic comedy. Two comedic geniuses, who are both skilled in their craft coming together, will give the audience many laughs.
Think action stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt coming together for The Smiths. Since then, no two co-ed actors have been able to come together on equal footing and skill to re-create that movie. The same can be said for Kevin Hart and Regina Hall teaming up for this comedic tale. The film features eye candy in the form of supporting actors Michael Ealy and Joy Bryant. Due in cinemas on Valentine’s Day, this will provide some much needed comic relief, opposed to the usual cheesy romantic films that the cinemas often show on this day.
