It’s amazing when you look back at Jason Bateman‘s career, he started off as the man who failed to follow up the success of Michael J Fox in Teen Wolf Too, he then seemed to just churn out film’s with him always playing the nice but irritating boyfriend or that sneaky dishonest friend. Well, Mr Bateman is slowly becoming my favourite actor in Hollywood, after the cult classic Bad Words 2013 he comes out swinging once again with The Gift.
He plays a successful business man who has just moved into a new house with his beautiful wife. While shopping for new furniture for his house, Bateman’s character bump’s into an old school friend who insist’s on catching up, his wife soon suspects that the old school friend may have a secret agenda. This thriller is a real head scratcher, but thoroughly entertaining with twists and turns throughout.
