It was recently announced that late actor Paul Walker, known for his role in the Fast and Furious franchise, completed filming all his scenes for the forthcoming Brick Mansions film before passing. Directed by Camille Delamarre, the film is a remake of French thriller Banlieue 13 also known as Disrtict B13. Paul Walker plays undercover police officer Damien Collier who partners with ex-prisoner Lino (David Belle) to capture and convict a drug lord Tremaine (RZA from Wu Tang Clan).
Tremaine has kidnapped Lino’s girlfriend so he reluctantly joins forces with the police to find her. This film is set in a block of flats in a dangerous part of Detroit, which police officers have constructed a wall around, to protect the public. Walker passed away half-way through filming for the latest Fast and Furious installment and this is the last full completed film he is a part of. The film will be released in U.S cinemas for April 25, with a UK release date not yet confirmed.
