The designer of Haitian heritage but born in Rome, showcases her strong inclination once again towards African prints in this collection. Stella Jean has described her style as one that “reflects and evokes” her Creole heritage “in which two opposing cultures intertwine and blend, resulting in a precious femininity“. “My style is matriarchal, unpredictable, traditional, Pirandellian and antithetic“, she said in an interview with Vogue.
