We have been out of the ‘fashion week’ loop for a while now, but we are charging back in full force and what better way to do it than showcasing the amazing 2014 Fall collection of STELLA JEAN. The collection premiered yesterday at the Milan Fashion Week.
The designer of Haitian heritage but born in Rome, showcases her strong inclination once again towards African prints in this collection. Stella Jean has described her style as one that “reflects and evokes” her Creole heritage “in which two opposing cultures intertwine and blend, resulting in a precious femininity“. “My style is matriarchal, unpredictable, traditional, Pirandellian and antithetic“, she said in an interview with Vogue.
Do not miss the lust worthy shoes, perfectly contrasting or matching each outfit. Silhouettes ranged from obi-belted kimono dresses, dirndl skirts and strong tailored jackets to boldly patterned robes.
