It has been four days since Adele’s long-awaited new album 25 has been released, and the sales are going so well, that the album is set to make chart history.
As Official Charts Company reports, the record, which already sold 538,000 in three days in the UK, is set to be the fastest selling UK album ever, having four days to surpass Take That< em>Progress which sold 519,000 copies in its first week, and Oasis 1997 album Be Here Now, the current record-holder, which reached the 696,000 copies sold in its debut week.
With the success in her natal country and the incredible sales in the US (2.3 million copies sold in just three days), Adele, who thought about quitting the music industry after the enormous success of her previous album 21 can now sleep soundly.
