London based artist Afro B has just released the official music video for his new single entitled “Pull Up“.
On “Pull Up“, Afro B’s fusion style shines through, indeed this track is a mix of dancehall and hip-hop with further influences taken from Afrobeats and R&B. A combination of various genres that interlace flows from old-school R&B songs to create a melodic masterpiece.
Speaking about the visual, it’s very kaleidoscopic. The video, directed by Tim & Barry, is characterized by optical illusions, in which the South Londoner artist is shown by himself, while he sings and performs.
This year, the AfroBrit singer has become one of the scene’s most respected vocalists. He starts his music career with a residency at a Jamaican club called NW10 and now thanks to the support of the likes of Tim Westwood, MistaJam, and Toddla T, he also hosts his own monthly show on London’s Radar Radio.
