West London’s AJ Tracey returns to the spotlight with his first slice of new material for 2018, a new single entitled “Mimi“.
The addictive Sevaqk-produced track marks an intriguing shift in gear from one of UK’s most celebrated young artists, as he hints at a major new project on the horizon. He delivers when it comes to flow and more so on punchlines, bragging on how the music is making him big money.
And if you thought the track was boastful, the video is definitely a different scale. Shot amongst the arctic landscapes of Finland and Iceland, this video follows in the long list from UK artists which are pushing the boundaries in terms of locations and quality while giving us a feast for the eyes, the likes of J Hus, Mist and MoStack.
After a whirlwind of attention at the end of 2016, AJ continues to outpace the hype surrounding him – performing nearly 150 times in 28 different countries in 2017, Secure The Bag reaching #13 in the charts and a colossal 29-date European headline tour to finish a landmark year. AJ is a force of nature.
