The one and only Alicia Keys has been tapped to perform at this year’s Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party, due to take place on September 6, kicking off New York Fashion Week.
Cartier is the luxury Maison partner for the magazine’s sixth annual celebration at the Plaza in Manhattan and the 15-time Grammy winner will be showing off her insane vocal chops at the venue, following Katy Perry, The Weeknd, Kanye West, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera’s performances in previous years.
Other notable names featured in Harper’s Bazaar global fashion director Carine Roitfeld’s 2019 “Icons” portfolio will be attending the exclusive event, including Kate Moss, Celine Dion and Devon Aoki.
“I am especially honored that the truly iconic Alicia Keys will be delivering this year’s special performance, which promises to be as inspirational and show-stopping as the artist herself”, said Roitfeld in a statement.
For those who won’t have the privilege to enjoy Keys’ performance, there are still good news for all of you, as the R&B star has recently announced a new album is on its way. “It reflects where I am today,” Keys explained about the upcoming LP, adding “The deeper acceptance I have of who I am as a full human being, the flaws, the pieces that I used to push aside because I wasn’t ready to embrace the anger or the fear or the crazy”.
