Canadian rapper (known for his work on Kanye West’s “All Day” and on Flume’s Skin) Allan Kingdom has shared a new video for his track, “The Ride“, from his 2016 mixtape Northern Lights. The track is an upbeat, summery hip hop jam, with an infectious chorus which makes a neat play on words with references to Kanye West’s Late Registration cut “Drive Slow”.
The video, directed by Ben Hughes, features Kingdom in a hot air balloon, interweaved with shots of him driving around in a Porsche, whilst visiting family and friends.
