Off the back of his recent collaboration with the Snakehips duo “For The F^_^k Of It” with Jeremih, Aminé gives us even more to talk about as he rides the wave and shares a new single called “Campfire” featuring Injury Reserve.
Over the Injury Reserve-produced beat, Amine “got a bad lil mama” to rap about and shows off his lyrical prowess in the process over a rumbling, laid-back beat with his nonchalant rap style for which he has become synonymous for.
“Campfire” also comes alongside another Aminé-directed visual. It’s rather unorthodox, featuring a heated debate about the correct pronunciation of “rural” and a wig-wearing joy-ride. Never one to take himself too seriously, it’s another fun, light-hearted joint from the Portland native.
It’s a short and sweet collaboration and his first track for this year, having burst into the scene with banana-filled “Caroline” video back in the summer of 2016. A sign that a new album is on the way? Only time will tell.
