Australian duo, Auguste, compromising of step-sisters Skye Lockwood and Beth Keough, have returned with a new single called “Siren Sounds”. Fellow Aussie, producer Gab Strum, or rather Japanese Wallpaper, helped the two out with co-producer duties.
“Siren Sounds” is the sound of the heavens punctuated with a sparse drum arrangement. These than clap, as angelic voices, somewhat tempered with angst, dance over the top of the track. In fact, it gets rather moody, driving with the height of emotion and passion. A vocal refrain is in tandem with some keyboard before the drums bolster and then herald a fadeout.
