It was the revelation that shattered her relationship with Twilight saga star Robert Pattinson and cast her as the home wrecker for the director’s marriage, but Kristen Stewart has claimed that she is not starring in the Snow White and the Huntsman sequel due to the quality of the scripts, or lack thereof.
The actress played the title role in the 2012 feature, reports at the time claiming that her cutting out of the series was the result of her short lived love affair with the movies director Rupert Sanders. The actress clarified the situation at the time as reported by Variety commenting:
“I read a few scripts, none of them were good. None of them were greenlight-able. And I had a meeting with Universal about the places where the story could go. Maybe Chris was more into it. I actually don’t fucking know. It wasn’t a situation where I got kicked off a movie because I got in trouble. We had been in talks months after that about making something work, and it never came together.”
