Bentgablenits is a joint project by design firm Bent Gable Design and vintage fashion collector Angelo Nitsopolous. In the short time that the brand has been around, they have made quite the scene, garnering the attention of influential individuals such as Drake, who took five pieces.
Angelo Nitsopolous outsources vintage items and Bent Gable works their magic to exemplify the exciting designs. A sustainable brand to say the least bringing life back into unforgotten styles.
Bringing back childhood memories, the collection features inspiration from our favourite fairy tales such as Thumbelina which was written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol and the classic Beauty & The Beast which was written by French author Gabrielle Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve in the grand year of 1740.
Fairy Tales inspire us in many ways, from this collection it is evident that we must learn our moral codes. For example Jack & The Beanstalk by Joseph Jacobs teaches us to make the most out of bad situations and when opportunity knocks, take it. I for one believe this collection will give much hope to buyers.
Much thought has gone into the designing process of this fairytale inspired collection, down to the finer details such as iconic lines sewn into the hem of the sweaters, such as ‘Happily Ever After’.
Being a fan of the enchanting designs, I know from previous experience that site drops have sold out in minutes, 11 to be precious to match the brands first 11 pieces.
If you are after a new captivating outfit or a pair of cashmere crocheted tube socks for the winter weather, make sure you are first on the scene by heading over to Bentgablenits website when the launch of fairytale inspired sweaters go live at 7pm GMT on December 18.
