Hooray! Queen B. has a new athleisure clothing line in partnership with none other than high street fashion giants, Topshop. The lady in question gave her Instagram followers a sneak preview of what is to come in a picture of herself wearing a leotard stamped with the brand’s name.
Ivy Park, as it is so eloquently named, has a huge 200 piece collection consisting of accessories, clothing and footwear. Items include hockey socks, sports bras, bodysuits and the like.
So why go down the athleisure route you may ask? Well, according to Beyonce, “When I’m working and rehearsing I live in my workout clothes but I didn’t feel like there was an athletic brand that spoke to me. My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire a women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance.”
The clothing line will be available in stores and online from April 14. But don’t worry, if you miss out on Bey’s items at Topshop, Ivy Park will also be stocked with 12 other brands in a whopping 50 countries. These will include Selfridges, Net-a-Porter and JD Sports.
