Antonio Breez is preparing to release his fourth studio album this fall. In the meantime, he begins his 2022 rollout with the glorious R&B opus titled “Ride“, along with its summer-ready music video to accompany it.
Written by Antonio Breez and produced by Ocean Luciano, “Ride” is a smooth and captivating track. It’s underpinned by Breez’s vocal dexterity and infectious melodies, under which producer Luciano lays down an undeniable R&B sound bed, carried by glorious Spanish guitar arrangements, 808 drum patterns and lush synths.
On this track, the Boston native, based in Los Angeles, sings and waxes lyrical about finding the lover who will sustain him against all odds. For the accompanying video, Antonio Breez collaborated with Los Angeles-based director and designer Corey Saldana to bring the track to life.
Filmed by the sea in Malibu and along the Pacific Coast Highway in California, the video for “Ride” brings us closer to summer with its beautiful imagery and summer vibes, while showing Breez trying to express his “ride or die” love to his girlfriend, and asking her to ride with him.
“The song was written four years ago. The song was inspired by just manifesting the type of love I’ve always wanted to have. That ride or die, that rider. It’s something I think we can all relate to”, said Antonio Breeze about the inspiration behind his new song.
As a reminder, Antonio Breez burst onto the hip-hop and rap scene with his debut album The Convocation Of Antonio Breez, followed by his classic projects Migration Narrative and Migration Narrative 2.
His fourth album Views & Likes in 2020 had spawned singles like “Listening To Drake” and “Snap Chat” and perfectly captured his new hip-hop and R&B fusion sound.
