The new teaser trailer for the Disney TV series Girl Meets World has debuted online. The TV show is a sequel spin-off of 90’s TV show Boy Meets World. The 45-second teaser clip shows married couple Cory and Topanga Matthews, their daughter Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and son Auggie, and follows Girl Meets World star Riley and her best friend Maya Hart (Sabrina Carpenter) as they enroll for middle school.
The new series is set to take place from grade seven to nine, with popular cast members from Boy Meets World such as bully Harley, nerd Stuart, Cory’s brother Joshua and friend Shawn all appearing in the series. The cast includes Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, Rowan Blanchard and August Maturo. The show will be broadcast on the Disney Channel on Friday, June 27 at 9.45pm ET.
