Marvel has announced today that Benedict Wong – known for his role in The Martian – will star in Doctor Strange, starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the character of Wong. Before confusion reigns about the fact that there are two Benedicts, and two Wongs – both the actor and the character, the latter is a mainstay of the Marvel Universe, tasked with protecting Strange’s body whilst he is astral projecting into other dimensions.
The film also stars Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton, and Chiwetel Ejiofor and focuses on the story of famous neurosurgeon Stephen Strange, who discovers the mystic arts and alternate dimensions following a fatal car accident. It is due to realease November 4th 2016.
