After the success of his Indiana EP in 2019, Briston Maroney has just released his latest single “The Garden” on February 28. This single is part of his latest Miracle EP, released in 2020!

Briston Maroney spent his youth in Knoxville in Tenessee. The artist became interested in music at a very young age, and as a teenager he participated in the 13th season of American Idol.

A little later, he joined the music group Subtle Clutch. The band, of which he was the singer and guitarist, played at venues such as Dollywood, The Square Room and the WDVX Blue Plate Special, and at music festivals such as Knoxville’s Rhythm N’ Blooms. The artist released in 2018 his first EP with Canvasback Music and Atlantic Records entitled Carnival.

But the EP that really made him known was his Indiana EP, released in 2019. After this EP, the artist played sold-out shows in America and headlined at The Lexington in London. He also played at festivals such as Austin City Limits and Pitchfork Paris.

Briston Maroney’s music is inspired by artists such as John Prine, Bob Dylan and Neil Young as well as independent rock bands such as Wallows, The Districts and Illiterate Light.
