It seems like South London is the new musical talent capital of London as another newcomer joins the fray. Enter BRYN, the eighteen-year-old, born and bred in Croydon, who is set to be a commanding force as an exciting versatile artist in the making – budding songwriter, talented rapper and a well-versed vocalist.
After amassing almost 100,000 followers on her Instagram in under a year with fiery vocal mashups and millions of views on her live performances, she kick-starts her career with the release of debut track “Pull Up“. Featuring another soon-to-be big name and fellow South Londoner, Yung Fume, she encapsulates the popular trap sound with her own vocal slickness and sprinkles of auto-tune, not seeming out of place alongside Fume.
In addition to this release, this summer will see BRYN undertake a run of appearances including a performance on the BBC’s 1Xtra stage at the Reading and Leeds Festivals, where she will share the stage with big names like Ski Mask the Slump God, AJ Tracey and Lady Leshurr. Keep your eye on this one, she has the potential to go far.
