Edinburgh-born singer-songwriter, Callum Beattie, returned to his routes in the newly-released video to “We Are Stars”. The video is set in Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, and the simple yet stunning video aligns nicely with Beattie’s virtuous lyrics and soft, raspy vocals.
Produced by Ken Nelson (ex-Coldplay producer), it’s possible to hear influences from Coldplay’s early tracks; similarities from smash hit “Yellow” have been sprinkled throughout.
With his first Radio 1 play from Mistajam and support slots from the likes of Louis Berry and James Arthur, Beattie is bound to wow crowds at Dot to Dot Fest and The Great Escape this summer.
