John Green is set to dominate the box-office again with the next adaptation of one of his best selling novels! This time around, Robot & Frank director Jake Schreier has brought Green’s 2008 book Paper Towns to life and 20th Century Fox has released the first trailer, starring Cara Delevigne and Nat Wolff. The movie tells the story of Quentin, a quiet natured boy whose world is spun when his beautiful neighbour Margo drags him on an all-night adventure through their hometown, opening Quentin’s eyes to a world beyond his own. When Margo disappears the next day, Quentin and his four friends begin a slapdash road trip to track down the mysterious teenager.
I’m a big fan of John Green’s books but have never been completely sold on the movie adaptations and when I heard Cara Delevigne was going to play Margo, I was seriously skeptical. However, the trailer gives me hope in her acting abilities as she seems to hold some of that addictive mystery that Margo’s character is famous for. Having already starred in Green’s The Fault in Our Stars movie, Nat Wolf is more than capable to carry the movie on his young shoulder, with the likes of Halston Stage, Caitlin Carver, Griffin Freeman and Austin Abrams to help him along the way. With the screenplay written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, Paper Towns hits theatres on July 24.
