At the Grand Palais, Paris on Tuesday afternoon, France’s most renowned, sunglasses wearing designer, Karl Lagerfeld showcased Chanel’s Autumn 2015 ready-to-wear collection. Transforming one of Paris’ most recognizable sights into a chic Parisian Café, aptly named Brasserie Gabrielle after Mademoiselle Chanel herself, the models entered through revolving doors, before ordering a coffee at the functioning bar, sitting down at a table and reading French papers. Modern twists on Chanel’s signature tweed suits were paired with quilted shoulders and bows, whilst slim knits, sensible heels and modern twists on the classic little black dress were also on the menu du jour.
