Earlier this year, Charli XCX and Jack Antonoff (Bleachers frontman) announced a joint tour dubbed ‘Charli And Jack Do America’. Originally a summer stretch, it lasted from July 21 until August 12, and an autumn follow-up was scheduled from September 14. That was until Ms XCX cancelled to focus on song-writing, something she was struggling with on tour.
Antonoff confirmed this cancellation on his own Facebook page but stressed that there were no hard feelings and “the only dates that are cancelled are the co-headline dates with charli”. Charli will still play at Antonoff’s Shadow Of The City Festival on September 19, and is going to be at Reading and Leeds Festival this year.
