After just 19 turbulent months of marriage, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is allegedly seeking a divorce from French husband Jean-Bernard. According to The Sun On Sunday today (January 10), Cheryl has cited Jean-Bernard’s “unreasonable behaviour” as the grounds for what will be her 2nd divorce if it does go ahead. That “unreasonable behaviour” of Jean-Bernard (who’s more commonly known as JB) has manifested itself in the form of jealously, with JB reportedly being envious of the amount of time Cheryl spends with other men AND her own pet dogs.
The couple’s Caribbean wedding in August 2014 was preceded by a whirlwind romance of just 3 months. Cheryl was prompted to marry after such a short time because she was said to be ‘madly in love’ with JB – a restaurant industry insider who has been steadily building a reputation for himself as somewhat of a ladies man.
Fans of Cheryl will be hoping that she did the sensible thing and signed a pre-nup, although at the moment, it’s unclear whether she did or not.
