Today sees the unveiling of Ciara’s new single “I Bet”, lifted from her sixth studio album titled Jackie, due for release later this year. The slow-tempo track is produced by Harmony Samuels and is extremely reminiscent of her earlier work such as “So Hard” and “My Love”. The track sees Ciara passionately singing about a betrayal and she states on the hook, “I know that it hurts, you know that it hurts your pride, but you thought the grass was greener on the other side“. The lyrics are rumoured to be personal account of her relationship with rapper-singer Future. Take a listen below.
