Coheed and Cambria‘s albums tend to follow a story-line which aligns with vocalist Claudio Sanchez’s comic book series The Amory Wars. Their upcoming album The Color Before The Sun (released October 9) and the single “You Got Spirit, Kid”, deviate from that familiar structure. The new music video takes the viewer back to high school, a familiar setting with an all-too-familiar incident – bullying. The jocks get their comeuppance and the band – posing as students – have lots of fun along the way. Partial nudity, a stink bomb, stoned cheerleaders…this video has it all! Watch it below.
