We already know that the famous X-Men character Deadpool is going to be getting his own movie in 2016 but is there room for him in the new X-Men movies? Apparently so, according to X-Men Days of Future Past writer/producer Simon Kinberg, when speaking to ComicBook.com saying; “there’s definitely a sort of overall plan that we’ve all been talking about for the X-Men universe now, and Deadpool obviously fits into that“. We’ll take that as a yes then!
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Deadpool feature in the X-Men franchise though. Ryan Reynolds played a bulging bicep Deadpool in the 2009 movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine and will no doubt go down well with audiences again and thanks to the time-bending changes of X-Men Days of Future Past, we wont have to worry about what they should have done with Deadpool during that lost time. Nice one, Kinberg.
