Craig David has just uploaded a picture on his Instagram account that caused a strong wave of emotions in all the 1990s/early 2000s kids who grew up with his music. The singer has indeed recreated the artwork for his iconic 2000 record Born To Do It, most probably as a new artwork for his upcoming and long-awaited 2016 comeback album, Following My Intuition.
Born To Do It was a commercial and critical success, debuting at number one in the UK Album Charts and selling 225,320 copies in its first week of release, becoming the fastest-selling debut album by a British male solo performer, record that still holds.
Over the past two years, David has started hinting at some new music, with performances at X-Factor, BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge and BBC Radio 1Xtra, until he announced to have signed a new recording contract in January with Insanity Records, through which he will distribute his new record.
