Cyril Hahn teamed up with Bristol based singer/songwriter Javeon to create the brilliant track “Breaking” which surfaced earlier this summer, the song is a beautiful combination of Hahn’s impressive production and Javeon’s stripped back vocals, and combined “Breaking” sits as a slow tempo summer tune that is still perfect for a dance floor. And now the video has premiered on international online retailer website ssense.com.
The visuals for “Breaking” are an amazing creation directed by Joe Alexander, styled by Julia Sarr-Jamois, and inspired by what has been labelled the most stylish subculture of 21st century Britain – The Rudeboy Movement. Embodied by dapper, well-dressed gentlemen, the movement is defined by sharp style: pin-tucked trousers, trilby hats, thin ties, bold colour palettes, and smart shoes. “Breaking” captures ‘rudie’ style on the streets of London and was shot in a variety of locations all over the capital.
