Multi-talented music Producers/DJs O1 and U1 also known as Da Beatfreakz have teamed up with Sneakbo, Moelogo, Afro B and Sona to release the first single off their forthcoming project titled “Quavo”.
An Afrobeats/Hip Hop joint, “Quavo” starts with a statement from Nigerian athlete Divine Oduduru which went viral, “We African people are born great.” before Sneakbo, Moelogo, Sona and Afro B all add their own unique flow to the infectious beat which is definitely a jam.
Premiered by BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Target, “Quavo” is perfect for blasting out of your car window on a sunny day and will be avaiable on all major platforms from Friday. If “Quavo” is anything to go by we can’t wait to hear the rest of the forthcoming project from Da Beatzfreakz.
