Dan Aykroyd has announced he will make a cameo appearance in Paul Feig’s 2016 Ghostbusters reboot. It is currently unknown if Aykroyd will cameo as Ray Stanz, the character he portrayed in the original Ghostbusters and its sequel, or as an entirely new character. The 2016 reboot will star Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as all-female team of Ghostbusters. Since production began, rumours have circulated that members of the original cast will cameo in the feature. Ghostbusters will arrive in cinemas in summer 2016.
