Daphne & The Golden Chord have just released the kaleidoscopic video for their new single “Remember To Breathe”, the track is taken from the band’s new album titled It’s A Riot, which was written and recorded at York’s Avatar Studios.
Tony Viscont produced the new Daphne & The Golden Chord album, he had already collaborated with Daphne Guinness for her debut album in 2016.
The visual for “Remember To Breathe” is very stylish and clearly inspired by the famous stylist Alexander McQueen. sequins, glitter and high heels stretch back the audience in to the 80’s.
Speaking about the video, they said: “We aimed to visually capture the joy and buoyancy of the song, and Daphne’s vibrant energy. In keeping with the analogue approach to recording, we incorporated tactile effects- the glitter hands, the exploding glitter cannons – we will be hoovering up glitter in our studio for years to come!”
