Last night (Saturday 9) the rock world paid his final tribute to Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister during the memorial service held in Los Angeles.
During the funeral, which was live-streamed online from Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood, rock stars such as Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Slash, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, Judas Priest’s Rob Halford, paid their respects by giving heartfelt speeches that celebrated, mainly, Lemmy’s integrity and his ability to live “on his own terms”.
