Good things lead to better things, that’s what I always say. This sentiment seems true between David Ayer and Will Smith, who are teaming up again after Suicide Squad for Fantastical Cop Feature Bright.
Deadline reports that Joel Edgerton will co-star in the film, co-written by Ayer and American Ultra‘s Max Landis. There are currently no details on plot, but there is a note of caution to the inclusion of Max Landis as one of the writers.
His most recent films did not achieve the same level of success as Chronicle – and last year’s Victor Frankenstein got critically panned by critics whilst his indie attempt Mr. Right fared no better. Here’s to hope that this film gets him out of the obvious rut he is in.
