The director who was at the helm of 2014’s John Wick, is set to direct a film adaptation of Anthony Johnson’s graphic novel, The Coldest City. Focus Features has announced that the film is scheduled to be released in theatres on August 11th 2017.
The film is a spy thriller set in Berlin, during the Cold War era. The Coldest City will star Mad Max: Fury Road actress, Charlize Theron, who is also apart of the film’s production team. Along side Theron, the film will also feature James McAvoy and John Goodman in key roles.
