An array of brands and top designers have been selected to join the shortlist for the 2016 London Fashion Futures Awards by Decoded Fashion. This year, they are working in partnership with The British Fashion Council to honour brands, retailers and tech companies who are broadening the relationship between fashion and technology.
There are ten awards up for grabs and winners will be decided by an expert panel including Caroline Rush: Chief Executive of British Fashion Council and Dolly Jones: Digital Strategy Director of Condé Nast Digital Britain.
Fay Cowan, Brand and Content Director of Decoded Fashion described the contestants as an “incredible mix of fashion brands, retailers and start-ups, all using tech to make their product and customer experiences better than ever. A recurring theme we have seen in the shortlist is the importance of consumer insight in delivering meaningful and valuable initiatives“.
Up for the award of ‘A Killer Experience’ are fashion forerunners ASOS, Burberry, Farfetch, Sephora and Topshop. Whilst ‘Digital Coalition’ category includes Christopher Raeburn X Unmade, JW Anderson X Grindr, Monsoon X OfferMoments, River Island X Shutl, Ted Baker X Wirewax.
The shortlisters attending the ceremony on the 18th of May at LSO St Luke’s can expect the Royal treatment. The evening includes a cocktail reception, exclusive dinner and After Party. This doesn’t come cheap, anyone wanting to attend this exclusive event will have to set themselves back £399 per ticket for what’s set to be a chic night.
