We’ve shared about Ukrainian-born London singer, songwriter and musician Delena before and she is making a name for herself as one of the UK’s more exciting new faces in pop music, counting the likes of Popjustice, Wonderland Magazine, Official Charts, and Complex, as fans. She returns with a brand new single titled “I Need You Tonight“, which you can peruse below.
A bit about Delena in case you missed our introduction to her earlier on this year – she was born in Kiev before relocating to Switzerland, then to London, to study at the London Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance. Music was always in her veins, through her relation to Ukrainian screenwriter, film producer, and director Alexander Dovzhenko.
She released her Delena EP earlier this year, backed by the singles “Holy Ground” and “Perfectly Designed”, each going on to hit over 1 million streams, and she has also just announced her first set of tour dates in support of Shakespeare’s Sister ‘Ride Again’ UK nationwide tour, as she works on a new EP to be released next year, of which “I Need You Tonight” is a timely precursor.
